Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Lead-Level Technical Specialist Engineers to become part of the Engineering Application Support (EAS) team in Long Beach, CA .
The Engineering Application Support (EAS) team is responsible for supporting engineering at the SoCal Design Center.
A successful candidate will have a customer support mindset and can drive the collaboration and change agent culture. This position will focus on working directly with the engineers from various disciplines across various tools and processes, helping to enable the SoCal Design Center to meet the organizational goals.
The candidate will provide engineering end-user support for the SoCal Design Center. The primary responsibilities are comprised of: Concurrent Product Definition (CPD) activities, Digital Product Definition (DPD) and Digital Pre-Assembly. The applicant will support the following tool suite: CATIA V5, ENOVIA LCA, PDM and IVT. The successful candidate must possess a strong ENOVIA LCA skillset, be familiar with Boeing customized ENOVIA Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and have the ability to learn and support new engineering tools and applications.
Position Responsibilities:
The primary End User Support (EUS) responsibilities are as follow:
- Analyze and solve varying engineering problems from an end-user’s perspective through the use of a technically skilled team. Strive to provide acceptable and cost effective resolutions and improve the overall end-user experience pertaining to engineering tools and processes.
- Provide support for engineering techniques (i.e., Solid modeling, dataset construction, in CATIA V5, PDM navigation, within ENOVIA LCA, IVT).
- Support implementation of Engineering tools and processes through Blockpoint testing and end user checkout for the CATIA V5 tool suite.
- Create and consult on computing (i.e., CATIA V5, ENOVIA LCA, and IVT) and process related Tip Sheets and Tutorials as related to the support of the day to day end user engineering activities.
- Provide PDM and Basic Retrofit Kit support which includes classroom instruction, final assessment and approval of PDM role requests.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Hybrid:
This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options (Long Beach, CA). This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years’ experience with CATIA V5.
- 3+ years’ experience with ENOVIA Design.
- 3+ years’ experience with Product Data Manager (PDM).
- 3+ years’ experience in Design Engineering.
- Outstanding customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years’ experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associates of Science (AS) Degree or higher.
- Must have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience with 3DX and TeamCenter.
- 3+ years of experience in creating engineering application solutions that drive innovation increasing growth and productivity for the business.
- Have strong problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, have ability to investigate, troubleshoot, working with teams to resolve users’ technical issues.
Typical Education & Experience:
Experienced-Level:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Lead-Level:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

Experienced-Level Summary pay range: $90,100 – $121,900
Lead-Level Summary pay range: $108,800 – $147,200
