Technical Support Specialist

What We Need
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Technical Support Specialist I within our Corpay division. This position is located in Brentwood, Tn. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the payment automation process by analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating technology issues. This position’s primary duties are assisting with technical issues surrounding payment files. Regular duties include product integration and training, detailed payment resolution support, and providing testing and development assistance with new and existing integrations. This highly visible position requires strong communication and customer service skills and a high level of proactive problem solving and follow-through.

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:

  • Workspace in Brentwood office and a home office set up
  • Company-issued equipment remote access
  • Formal, hands-on training

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing complex technical support and assistance to internal and external customers via phone, email, and any other remote methods
  • Providing exceptional care and attention to Key customers
  • Addressing and responding to customer inquiries on products and services, operational functions, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Providing customers with preventive maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance, and customer satisfaction, including software updates and changes
  • Documenting client/customer interaction, including detail of inquiries, complaints, comments, and action taken via Salesforce
  • Creating project plans and manage special projects in collaboration with other teams
  • Customizing report creation (including training documentation)
  • Supporting and handling questions and escalations from internal departments, resolve complex issues, monitor connectivity, and other real-time customer needs, and offer after-hours, on-call support
  • Escalating issues with other resources within the company
  • Supporting new product and equipment onboarding and documentation

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required (Bachelor degree preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience in an environment delivering client facing technical support.
  • Advanced computer skills required, including at least an intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Data File Mapping, Amazon web services, and Sterling File Gateway Experience a Plus

    This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At FLEETCOR, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $21.00-$24.00.
