This role in our Project Kuiper L&D team can provide you with:
Ability to influence change and ensure a successful technician training experience for employees.
Partnering with leaders at multiple levels of the organization to develop forward looking strategies and goals focused on the employee technical and ongoing learning experience.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and successful creation and delivery of training programs to aerospace manufacturing audiences related to highly technical products, services, platforms, or topics. You will support LMS administration for training programs, execute and support execution of trainings, present material to diverse group of manufacturing groups and roles. Training topics may include but are not limited to build knowledge, increase user adoption to increase individual or team effectiveness, or communicate best practices.
In order to be effective in this role, you must possess a technical background and prior manufacturing experience to understand and communicate to the technical content to the audiences. You must be able to deep dive into the technical aspects of the topic and understand it yourself, and then translate that understanding into high quality training content and programs for other audiences.
The ideal candidate identifies problems and suggests solutions that will be able to scale with a growing manufacturing workforce. You must be able to solve problems with direction and guidance from more senior technical trainers. Contributes to the strategy and may be active in training to execution f a scalable and robust new hire Technical Training program to enable quick new hire full utilization. You must be able to adapt to change quickly and be able to work in an ambiguous environment.
• Collaborate with other technical trainers and members of the Kuiper L&D team to develop a blended learning program that includes corporate culture, compliance, and role specific learning.
• Collect and maintain/analyze training program metrics all supporting cross functional teams.
• Ensure proper enrollment of all participants and facilitators for appropriate Technical sessions.
• Supports team in training, planning, and delivery.
• Responsible for general administration LMS associated with running training programs.
• Assist in reviewing training materials and curriculum.
• Aids in the ongoing maintenance of training programs, products, and systems.
• Identify and drive efficiency in the technical training process by driving a consistent feedback loop for developing best practices and process improvements on an ongoing basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of experience working with and delivering training cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• 2+ years of experience with Aerospace and or Manufacturing executing technician training program(s) or manufacturing process definition and certification for hourly Technician training program/learning programs and building processes
• 1+ years Experience developing knowledge centers via LMS
• 1+ years Experience leveraging technology to develop and improve technical scalability
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems
• Experience with Aerospace, Defense and Government technical training requirements
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
• Proficient with Quip, workdocs, smartsheet, Microsoft suite and outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven consultative experience, working with a number of cross functional partners
• Proven track record of taking ownership, managing conflicting priorities and driving results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $91,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
