Electric Monster is a rapidly growing content creation studio founded in March of ’21 that acquires and grows digital video brands in the general entertainment space. The team at Electric Monster is a diverse mix of ambitious digital video veterans and people looking to make their mark on our industry. As we continue to grow, we are in search of a YouTube Optimization Coordinator to join our talented team and help shape the future of digital content.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced YouTube Optimization Coordinator with strong attention to detail to handle day-to-day operations for several client owned YouTube channels.
Successful applicants have a passion for YouTube, growing engaged organic audiences, and can handle juggling multiple projects on any given day. They ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, the ability to operate independently, organize their time to ensure internal and external deadlines are met, maintain clear communication with multiple teams, and the follow-through necessary to position all video releases for success.
This position is full-time and will report directly into the SVP of Strategy & Audience Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the day-to-day operation across multiple YouTube channels.
- Manage content schedules and track content production to ensure deadlines are met.
- Upload content, ensuring channels adhere to YouTube best practices.
- Collect assets for thumbnails and oversee design requests.
- Monitor daily video performance and liaise with stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborate in meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to evaluate channel activities and performance.
- Write and edit optimized titles, descriptions, and keywords to align with best practices.
- Conduct keyword research to stay up to date on platform developments and trends.
- Provide support for thumbnail and community tab image creation.
- Maintain comments sections and community tabs as assigned, including moderating offensive comments, responding to comments, etc.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Uphold Electric Monster’s ethics and values while performing duties.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of YouTube channel management experience.
- Proficiency with Photoshop.
- YouTube Certified applicants preferred.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, and can easily pick up on other project management software utilized by the team e.g. Airtable, Monday, etc
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration with team members and clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, administrative skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding time management skills, including the capacity to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Base Salary: $50,000.00/Yr
