Job Description

Crown is seeking a Technical Writer to support the FAA. This position will be hybrid with some travel to the FAA office in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of Documents IAW Agency Documentation guidelines, QMS and ISO-9001 standards
  • Create, edit, and format documents utilizing MS-Office and Adobe (Pro) products
  • Work with TDI employees to capture work-flows, and codify into detailed job processes
    • Present work-flows in workflow diagrams
    • Present work-flows in table format
    • Present work-flows in chart/Gantt or project tracking format
    • Present work-flows in outline format
  • Utilize HTTP / Hyperlink technology to given references and orders or online information
  • Ensure proper grammar and proofing of all documents
  • Savvy in graphics/visual media development to help add customized and professional polish/look and feel to the program materials

Salary Range: $62,000-72,000/Annually

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or related field is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience doing similar kinds of work
  • Advanced MS-Office Suite experience
  • Advanced Adobe Pro all products
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work, collaborate, and build repute with people at all levels of the organization
