HID’S Physical Access Control Business (PACS)

This role will be a part of the PACS business which is highly visible and one of our most significant portfolios within HID Global. The PACS products include intelligent controllers, readers, credentials and mobile access for physical access control. This position will report to the Director of Technology Integration of PACS OEM sales. As a manager you will work with HID’s world class family of OEM partners in driving revenue growth and strategic alignment with HID’s products, brands and services.

As our Technology Integration Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • Supporting the NAM OEM Account team with developing and driving strategic and key product initiatives into the HID OEM Account channel partners.
  • Performing technology/roadmap reviews, evangelizing new product offerings, and ensuring prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Clearly communicating and presenting the HID PACS portfolio and strategic vision to OEM Account partners. Tailoring messaging to incorporate partner’s strategic relationship.
  • Identifying, driving, and optimizing revenue from business opportunities by leveraging HID technologies.
  • Building trusting relationships with technology decision-makers and influencers within the OEM Account. Gaining a deep understanding of the OEM Account technology and business strategy.
  • Being accountable for ensuring technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) are addressed, by providing necessary technical guidance and leadership from inception to completion of projects.
  • Collaborating with HID Product Marketing and Engineering teams on requirements and perspectives of OEM Account partners. Improving HID’s portfolio by providing regular partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management.
  • Working closely with HID regional sales managers to understand market trends and how to best leverage this data within the OEM Accounts.
  • Maintaining a strong technical command of the HID portfolio. Ability to learn new technical concepts by leveraging internal experts and external resources such as field experts and technical articles.

What we will love about your background:

  • Understanding and experience of the access control and/or IT sales channel market preferred.
  • Technical and market experience in IT security and network solutions with an emphasis on authentication preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills required.
  • Strong technical aptitude and able to convey and understand technical concepts.
  • Understanding of channel-based sales/marketing is a plus.

Your Experience and Education include:

  • BA/BS Degree desired within a technology related field preferred.
    • Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant industry experience may also be considered.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in sales engineering, systems engineering, technical sales, or related field a plus.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in physical access control systems and products preferred.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in IT security as a core focus is preferred. CISSP certification a plus.
  • 50% travel required for North American Region, some international included.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

The base salary in the United States is $69,000.00 to $78,000.00. The OTE is up to $130,000.00.
