Temporary HR Administrative Coordinator

The is a 6-month temporary position suited to someone who is detail oriented, self-motivated, and well organized. This is a hybrid role which requires two days a week in our Seattle Headquarters building in Pioneer Square, two blocks from the King Street station.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform departmental administrative tasks including SharePoint management, complex meeting requests, complex invoice coordination/processing, mail distribution and other administrative tasks
  • Prepare and mail benefit related communications, including coordinating the distribution of plan change and compliance communications
  • Coordinate and perform basic research for SPD/SMM fulfillment requests
  • Provide transactional and administrative support for HR systems and business processes
  • Primary resource for historical records (Iron Mountain retention)
  • Support departmental projects (ie. open enrollment, compliance-driven projects, team events, training coordination, etc.)
  • Document and track issues in Shared Services case management system
  • Provide operational excellence for administrative support, including proactive pursuit of simplification and efficiency for department administrative items and processes. Document and communicate resulting changes and ensure they are working effectively.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:

  • Experience : At least one year of customer service and/or administrative support experience. Payroll, benefits or HR exposure a plus.
  • Breadth : We are looking for someone with analytical abilities to solve problems and deliver high volume and high-quality work.
  • Drive : Focused and ambitious, we need a teammate enthusiastic about learning the role
  • Core Skills : Accelerated ability to multi-task and easily adjust priorities and focus. Excellent organizational skills. Sharply honed communication skills – both written and verbal. Professionally handles sensitive and confidential information.
  • Soft Skills : Act with urgency, identify simplifications, demonstrate initiative
  • Technical Skills : Technically agile and able to learn new systems quickly. Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Education : Completion of or progress toward Associates degree

Compensation: This role is eligible for an hourly rate of $22/hr – $31/hr, based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience.

Retirement: Temporary employees who work a minimum of 25 hours a week, are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match.
