The Term Product Management Team is responsible for all aspects of product development and inforce management of the Term product line. This role will be responsible for supporting these efforts, while also assisting with specific cross-functional initiatives. The role requires an individual prepared to build on an existing foundation of general life insurance knowledge with a strong interest in furthering their term life insurance focus. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. The role will collaborate with members from across the organization including Technology, Service, Agency, and Marketing.
The Senior Associate will report directly to the Term Product Manager within the Life Products department.
Primary responsibilities in support of product management tasks/projects include:
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Term products
- Drive specific elements of the product development process spanning ideation to implementation, engaging with various stakeholders across the organization
- Provide product management support for Agency promotions / campaigns
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with business partners across the organization
- Assist and collaborate with other members of the Life Products organization in prioritization discussions to schedule effective product implementation strategies
- Become the Term product management liaison for product filings, marketing, and correspondence initiatives
- Become a reliable point of contact and resource for term product specific questions (both currently offered and legacy)
- Answer policy related inquiries from case management team, Service teams and Agency partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with strong life insurance knowledge, Term knowledge preferred
- Ability to plan and execute independent and team projects within a reasonable time frame supporting product specific initiatives (product development and inforce management)
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Flexibility to juggle and prioritize, supporting efforts across multiple high priority projects; must be organized and detail oriented
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) software
