Test and Evaluation Engineer
Sterling Heights, MI
Contract Position
$35.73/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans and reports for system and subystem level testing
Develop instrumentation plans for system level and component level testing - Create and maintain test schedules for system level and component level testing
- Provide high level estimates for labor hours and material dollars needed to execute a test
Execute system level testing at Sterling Heights and Government test sites - Execute subsystem level testing at Sterling Heights on site Test Lab.
- Setup data acquisition devices and various instrumentation types
- Record, process, and present data from field test events
- Ship and track resources/equipment/hardware required for offsite testing
- Coordinate with field engineering representatives and other support groups as required
- Prepare weekly status reports for management and project team review
- Communicate program issues, needs, and updates with management and project team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or other technical degrees
- Good knowledge of various test equipment, test methods, and procedures – MIL-STD-810, ATPD-2404, ATPD-2167, TOPS, and ITOPS are a plus.
- Personal computer skills: MS Office Suite, Creo, Teamcenter, Internal company databases and programs, Infield, Diadem, Matlab
- Occasional travel required to various test sites
- Great writing and communication skills
- Strong ability and willingness to work in a team environment
