WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Design and create yardage prints, graphics, and art for the Billabong men’s line, with a specific focus on the boardshort category.
- Collaborate on and create seasonal colour stories and palette, hitting calendar and margin targets.
- Contribute to overall design intent (both direction and build) and art direction for the seasonal, brand elevation, and STM ranges.
- Execute prints, graphics and art in line with the vision for Billabong men’s global seasonal direction.
- Identify and execute print, graphic and art opportunities resulting in increased market-share and sell-through for the men’s product categories.
- Build and engineer yardage patterns in repeat and full tech to apply across all categories of the range, but with a specific focus on the application of the Boardshort category, and in format for all regional and external M&D team members to apply to their specific needs.
- Work with the Global / NA product team to ensure regional alignment across categories, while capitalizing on key market trends to identify new / brand right opportunities.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of market, trends, innovation, competition, and product.
- Ensure prints, graphics and art are delivered on time and aligned with the broader product development calendar.
- Manage time and action calendar for assigned categories to meet all deadlines.
- Partner closely with Men’s MD&D team, Global Creative and Art Directors, and Freelance Artists/Designers.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Ability to create and implement brand right / consumer relevant prints, art and graphics.
- Ability to identify key marketplace trends and opportunities that are consistent with brand values and design aesthetic
- Knowledge of product development process / calendar / timelines
- Must be able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
- Must be proactive with a solution / result oriented attitude
- Must have excellent communication and follow through skills
- Must be highly organized and detailed oriented
- Bachelor’s Degree, commercial art / graphic design / industrial design
- Experience in art / graphic leadership roles.
- Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Familiarity w/ PLM

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $68,000 – $83,000. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
