Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:
To assist sport officials in keeping score and time during youth and/or adult games. **Pay: $15.30 per game.***
Essential Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Keep accurate game time using a timing clock.
Keep accurate score at league/tournament games.
Keep the timing clock in good working order
Record team and player names onto score sheets prior to game.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Attention to detail.
Ability to learn how to maintain and run a timing clock.
The ability to write legibly.
Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality.
Knowledge of sports games is preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must attend a Timer/Scorer training school.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE POSITION:
Duties involve remaining seated for the duration of a game with few break opportunities. May involve physical tasks such as walking/running over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, kneeling, standing in place or continual walking, lifting and carrying of moderate to heavy items (including people) on a consistent basis. Exposure to moving objects such as sports equipment.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS OF THE POSITION:
Exposure to indoor gymnasium conditions including crowd noises and heat or cold. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
