PAY RANGE: $25.00 – $28.00 / Hour
*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure

The Temporary Total Rewards Administrator supports the day-to-day administration of Boot Barn’s health, wellness, and safety programs. The incumbent is expected to maintain a friendly and professional work environment with employees and supervisors, motivate others with energy and enthusiasm for the business, and proactively plan and execute benefits initiatives.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Administers partner health and welfare benefit programs; medical, dental, vision, group insurance, life, accident, disability and COBRA.
- Communicate benefits eligibility and act as the main point of contact for benefit related questions, providing guidance on how to best utilize available coverages.
- Assist with annual open enrollment preparation, communication and processing.
- Act as liaison with insurance carriers, resolving administrative problems with carrier representatives, serving as the first point of contact with the third-party administrator, and fostering effective relationships with representatives.
- Assist partners in updating their records through the Employee Self Service Portal and ensure accurate data in HRIS regarding benefit plan changes, new deductions or life changing events.
- Manages Leave of Absences and maintains records according to state and federal regulations.
- Administer the Workers’ Compensation program across all Boot Barn locations;
- Manage claims end-to-end; initial intake of claim, initial and ongoing communication to TPA, insurance carrier, claimant and supervisor (if appropriate), review of medical notes, assessment of accommodations and return to work status, subrogation, resolution and closure of claims.
- Manage Boot Barn Safety Program; work with Boot Barn locations ensuring they are OSHA compliant and have safe work environments, educate and monitor metrics; reporting reductions and increases for various locations.
- Assists with preparing and submitting state quarterly workers compensation reporting.
- Facilitate communication between Benefits, Human Resources and payroll for benefit, leave and Work Comp situations.
- Assists with the Company’s Wellness initiatives; makes recommendations, assists in implementations, leads initiatives, supports overall goals.
- Prepare and maintain bi-weekly employee hours reporting, new benefits eligible enrollments, termed and absentee reports, along with new deduction changes.
- Prepare and maintain employee benefit files; assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.
- Manage corporate charity, Boot Strap Fund, applications from beginning to end and increase employee awareness through fundraising and events.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years of benefits or benefits administration experience in a corporate environment; retail highly preferred
- Bilingual English / Spanish
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent relevant experience
- Current knowledge of competitive compensation and benefit programs
- Previous experience in leave management
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
- Experience in Word, Excel, ADP HRB and other applicable database programs helpful
