The Opportunity We are looking for a candidate with experience in a progressively responsible IT Network & Cloud Engineer role. As the IT Network & Cloud Engineer, you will work with cutting edge on premise and cloud hosted hardware, software, servers, databases, storage solutions, networks, security tools, etc. to support the corporation’s needs. In addition, you will be tasked with technology design, implementation, and operations, and provide day-to-day support to an innovative team.
A successful candidate must be honest and ethical in all actions; recognize the requirements of confidentiality; and be intellectually curious about investment financial data and analysis. The Systems Administrator works under the supervision of the Network & Cloud Manager.

Key responsibilities include the following: • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the corporations’ identity and access management, computer systems, networks, servers, and cloud technologies.
• Manage system/server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability. Establish strategic direction, goals, mission, objectives, metrics, and key performance indicators consistent with a mature Cybersecurity Program.
• Provides support and assistance to other members of the information technology team and its user base.
• Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures; and assists in establishing IT policies, procedures, plans and strategies and will implement such under the guidance and direction of the Network and Cloud Manager.
• Maintains baseline system security according to organizational policies and standards.
• Maintains expert level skill and knowledge of tools, technologies, strategies, and methodologies in administration, networking, cloud computing, computer hardware, and other related domains.
Qualifications:
Salary Range Network & Cloud Engineer: $100,000 – $125,000 Senior Network & Cloud Engineer: $125,000 – $140,000
A successful candidate should ideally have these qualifications for the Network & Cloud Engineer: • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in network engineering work in an enterprise environment is required.
• Experience working with firewalls, cloud networking, cloud security, network administration, server management, storage, backups, security, and monitoring tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to easily and effectively interact with technical, non-technical, support, and business staff at all levels.
• Understand the basics of systems administration. M365, Azure AD, Active Directory, Windows and general system administration methodologies: identity and access management, computer systems, servers, and cloud technologies.
A successful candidate should ideally have the same qualifications as the Network & Cloud Engineer for the Senior Network & Cloud Engineer: • A minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience in network engineering work in an enterprise environment is required.
Substitution: Commensurate combination of education and experience can be substituted.
