  • Estimated annual base pay: $106,100 – $132,700 (midpoint)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Trade Compliance Process Improvement Manager we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Global Trade Compliance Process Improvement Manager position reports to the Director of Trade & Regulatory Compliance and supports the continuing development of Company’s global trade compliance program, including the integration of process improvements enterprise-wide. In coordination with the global trade compliance leadership team, develops and provides training on standardized compliance processes and policies. This position leads regulatory analysis matters related to global trade compliance (e.g., audits, disclosures, sanctions reviews, and enforcement monitoring) across the organization. This role is vital in helping our company navigate complex global trade regulations and maintain a culture of compliance.

What you will be doing

  • Leads the development of, the enterprise-wide global trade compliance strategy and program, including implementing and maintaining policies, processes and trainings to mitigate risks and promote process improvements.
  • Monitors legal and regulatory developments in U.S. trade affairs and advises the business of relevant impacts
  • Conducts internal investigations and drives the resolution of compliance matters.
  • Keeps abreast of regulatory enforcement trends, and correspondingly ensures best practices are incorporated across the company.
  • Reviews high-risk contractual provisions and develops standard clauses, and terms related to global trade compliance matters.
  • Analyzes and interprets global trade sanctions in connection with potential impacts to company operations. Advises the business on global trade compliance issues.
  • Oversees and implements risk mitigation activities and engages outside counsel as necessary and at the direction of the Director of Trade & Regulatory Compliance.

Qualifications
What We Are Looking For

  • US – Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
  • US – Other J.D. preferred
  • 5+ years Leadership experience within the global trade compliance function of a multinational company
  • 5+ years Experience leading and managing highly visible projects and teams
  • 5+ years Experience implementing U.S. global trade compliance initiatives
  • 20% Required to travel up to 20% of the time (domestic and international)
