This exciting role supports the Technical Training Manager and Human Resources team in developing and administering a variety of communications, training programs, and employee engagement initiatives. Your Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain Excel (or similar) training database, including completion records, standard training reporting, and role-based assignment of training activities.
  • Coordinate live and virtual training events, including arranging physical and virtual meeting space, managing rosters, printing materials, and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Assist in creating and distributing training-related communications, such as organizational emails about training opportunities, Outlook training invitations, leadership notifications of training assignments and progress, and Kirkpatrick Level 1 evaluation distribution, collection, and basic analysis.
  • Administers and plans the Company Commute Smart Program.
  • Arranges, organizes, and executes Company sponsored employee events such as: Blood Drives, Flu Shot Clinics, Engagement in Commute Smart Program, and Food Truck Thursdays!
  • Assist Vice President of HR with maintaining and creating of Company Job Descriptions and performance review program.
  • Create professional communications on a variety of employee topics with informative and engaging design.
  • Create and maintain organizational content library, managing access, content updates, and distribution as needed.
  • Assist in organizational task analysis, skills, and performance gap evaluations.
  • Utilize existing technology suite for content creation, digital and print.
  • Assist in the evaluation of training programs.
  • Provides Front Desk coverage as needed.
  • Other Duties and Responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Training, Human Resources, or related field, plus 1-2 years’ experience OR 5-years of applicable working experience and education combination.
  • Minimum of 1-year training or technical/professional writing experience required.
  • The successful candidate will be confident, candid, and creative who loves being part of a collaborative team.
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and regular attendance required.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles, a plus!
  • Working experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bonus points for working experience with e-learning creation software [Camtasia, Articulate, etc.].
  • Effective Communications: You get to the point quickly and succinctly and make complicated concepts clear to others. You are an exceptional listener, even in stressful situations, and display an acute sense of the right thing to say in various scenarios.
  • Superior organizational skills with flexibility in changing priorities.
  • Excels in a team-based, customer-centric culture.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Able and willing to work 100% on-site.
