DESCRIPTION
This position provides leadership, direction, and coordination in the planning, assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training and employee development methodologies for professional growth and development approved programs and activities. Designs, facilitates, coaches and performs training needs assessments. Assists in the administration of Human Resources policies and procedures relating to employee training and development. Trains employees on established and/or modified organizational practices and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the professional development and training program. Evaluates each department’s training needs. Partners with department administration and employees to identify organizational and development needs and works collaboratively to develop strategies and tactics designed to meet targeted needs; facilitates and/or delivers tailored programs appropriate for this organization.
  • Develops and implements employee training curriculum and sessions based on needs assessment and certification requirements. Markets and promotes training opportunities to employees.
  • Provides training utilizing web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos, in person training, etc.; monitors, tracks, and assesses training programs.
  • Researches new training techniques and programs; makes program recommendations; implements approved techniques and programs in a timely manner.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Training/Professional Development or related occupational field or High School Diploma based on experience.{Please note: Upon job offer, you will be required to provide proof of education. Experience: Professional experience in organizational development, leadership, staff development, conflict resolution, or policy and procedure training. Five (5) years with Bachelor’s Degree, seven (7) years with Associate’s Degree, or nine (9) years with High School Diploma.

Licensing: Possession of a valid driver’s license with good driving history. If state license is other than Georgia or South Carolina, applicant must obtain a license in Georgia or South Carolina within 30 days of employment.
