Job Description Summary
The selected candidate will work closely with the Dept of Art Chair to ensure students & teachers have access to equipment & supplies to help with projects & Senior Thesis preparation.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include managing & maintaining video, photography and digital media equipment, assisting with social media, online portfolios, programming of guest speakers, special events, and basic office duties such as filing, emails, data management.
- Transdisciplinary Studio has a variety of equipment checked out to students & you will oversee that as well as maintenance of equipment. Training will be provided on how to give simple how-to demos to fellow students and collaborate with the Gallery Coordinator to help primarily with exhibition installations involving digital media equipment.
- Other duties include researching latest trends in digital media, data management, and social media.
Required Qualifications
The candidate should be comfortable in using and experimenting with electronics, possess attention to detail, be very organized, responsible, patient and have some design and/or digital media experience. Punctuality and problem-solving skills are a plus.
