Framatome is seeking a Project Manager for our Mill Ridge Road office in Lynchburg, Virginia. At this level, incumbents manage small and simple, single product line projects, or elements and functions within larger projects under the direct supervision of higher level, properly certified PMs. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling and control of project activities to achieve project objectives. Provides project leadership for small and simple, single product Line, or elements and functions within larger projects under the direct supervision of higher level, certified PMs.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepares project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
- Utilizes approved project management methods and processes to execute low risk projects of existing technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations.
- Provides primary interface between project team, management and client.
- Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
- Coordinates multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizes team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance.
- Manages the timely issuance and payment of customer invoices.
- Expected to achieve and continue to maintain Framatome PM Certification
Travel: Up to 50%
Required Experience
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience or experience in lieu of degree. Advanced degrees may substitute for years of related experience

- Business and/or technical expertise in a related technical or professional capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of staff & management
- Excellent working knowledge of PC-based applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Strong problem identification and resolution skills with emphasis on “root cause” analysis
- Good report development and presentation skills

- Physical Requirements:
- Remain in a stationary position, walk, kneel and crouch.
- Operate computer on a continual basis and communicate with various levels of the organization.

Our total rewards package
The range of base salary for the position is between $79,000 – $107,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
