Job Summary

Responsible for: Corporate Treasury activity and reporting requirements as related to North America liquidity management, global cash and investments, and bank account administration; reporting and analysis utilizing the Treasury Management System and Bank Account Management systems, and; ensuring compliance with Treasury and Corporate policies, SOX controls and credit agreement covenants and rules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Utilize the Treasury Management System [TMS] and become super user to assist junior team member in preparing the daily cash position, monitoring account activity, and reconciling prior day bank account activity. Update and maintain accuracy of the TMS static data, daily cash worksheet, and mapping rules.
• Manage Treasury’s Bank Account Management [BAM] system, a database of global bank accounts, account signatories and online banking users, to maintain integrity of data and ensure account updates are completed.
• Develop reporting in TMS and BAM systems for analysis to support Treasury and internal business partners.
• Initiate electronic funds transfers: execute the daily purchase & sale of investments in money market funds; initiate wires for Treasury-administered EMEA accounts and for Venture Capital related activity.
• UtilizeTMS to create schedules of investments in money market funds and prepare quarterly Global Investment Roll-forward.
• Assist Treasury Manager with TMS short-term cash forecast and provide recommendations for credit facility borrowings/repayments.
• Work with Sr. Treasury Manager to help prepare credit facility borrowing/repayment lender notifications and reconcile activity to statements; utilize TMS to input credit facility activity for producing monthly interest accrual schedules.
• Prepare monthly global cash and investment report, reconcile balances to the general ledger, monitor classification of cash and investments to correct general ledger account, and analyze global investments to make recommendations to maximize return while maintaining liquidity and preserving capital. Play key role in new project to replace current report with TMS reporting.
• Prepare and maintain intercompany loan schedules, including loan activity and monthly accruals.
• Prepare and collect reports for annual verification of bank accounts and EFT Policy exhibits; work with entity controllers on completeness and reconcile approved reports to the BAM system.
• Prepare FinCEN 114 reports for all US persons that have signature authority on foreign bank accounts (IRS requirement) and consolidated filing.
• Open and maintain designated bank accounts, including KYC and signatory updates, and assist with new company integration, including signatory updates on bank accounts, opening new bank accounts, and updating applicable schedules.
• Serve as the Treasury Lead for banking platform updates and implement interfaces with Charles River Laboratories systems.
• Administer share repurchase program. Reconcile statements, transfer shares, analyze share activity, and issue monthly management report.
• Compile documentation for assigned internal and external audit requests.
• Ensure operational compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls, Credit Agreement covenants, and corporate policies.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• Experience: Two to five years of relatable experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
• Other: Strong analytical, communication and organization skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel. PowerPoint a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Regularly provides information to and receives information from/through various technologies, media, sources and contacts. Must be able to accurately exchange accurate information in these situations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• General office working conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, and location.
