Responsibilities:
- Lead negotiations and settlements in negligence cases involving car crashes and premises-related injuries.
- Demonstrate exceptional discovery and mediation skills to facilitate settlements.
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and paralegals to strategize and manage cases.
- Participate in in-house structured webinars led by senior partners, benefiting from their collective 120+ years of trial experience.
- Adapt and embrace evolving responsibilities based on firm needs and professional aspirations.
Requirements:
- Law degree from an accredited institution and active membership in the New York State Bar.
- 2-5 years of legal experience, preferably in negligence cases.
- Strong negotiation, mediation, and settlement skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
- Willingness to adapt and transition roles within the firm based on evolving career goals.
