Project Manager

The Opportunity:

LDIS LLC, a Tetra Tech Company, provides integrated engineering and design solutions for the Energy, Renewables, Water Treatment and Life Sciences markets. Today’s emphasis on Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), and Decarbonization has begun and will continue to shape the face of the marketplace. In addition to conventional facility solutions and designs, our projects include Hydrogen Electrolysis & Ammonia Production Facilities, Renewable Natural Gas Processing, Emissions Reduction Studies, and Carbon Capture and Sequestration.

Your Role:

Project Managers are typically experienced Engineers, Senior Designers, Construction Managers, or Business Professionals tasked to manage all aspects of a project(s) from conception to completion. The daily responsibilities include client interaction, team coordination, overall communication, and reporting of scope, schedule, and budget expectations both externally to the client as well as internally to the project team. The PM has leadership responsibility and decision-making authority and is ultimately responsible for the success of their project portfolio.

Summary of Job Requirements:
• Project Execution
o Project request setups
o Project kickoff meetings
o Project Execution Plans (PEPs) or Client Execution Plans – by client
o Establish scoping documents – either by client or by LDIS PM
Scope of Work
Design Basis – The PM manages the development of the document. This is traditionally baselined by the Process engineering group with detailed input received from the Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls and Mapping Groups.
o Document Control
Procedurally using document control procedures for sending out all deliverables
o Squad Checking – Discipline led
Procedurally using squad check procedures for reviews
o Weekly updates to LDIS staffing spreadsheet
o Cost Estimate
Rules of credit discussion – discipline led inputs
Estimate To Complete (ETC) frequency per project Request For Proposal (RFP)
ETCs to be updated by E&D teams
o Project Schedule
MS Project
Primavera P6 (to support larger clients)
o Use of PEs for Tactical / Technical Engineering and / or Project Management
o Span of Control
Actively manage 3-7 projects simultaneously

Qualifications:
o Seeking experienced Project Managers with a minimum of 7-12 years’ experience in a similar role. Project Managers are expected to lead client interface and internally mange multidiscipline project execution teams to complete mostly small to medium sized projects of less than $500K in contract value.
o Preferably minimum BS in Engineering or BA in business or similar.

Per our company policy, this offer is also contingent on passing a background and drug and alcohol test before starting at our company.

Salary Range: $104,000 – $160,000 annually. Depending on qualifications.
