As a Trust Administration Attorney, you will play a crucial role in running trust administration files from start to finish, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our clients’ trusts. Pay Range: $120,000 – $140,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of trust administration files
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding trust administration matters
- Review and interpret trust documents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Prepare necessary legal documents
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Conduct meetings with clients to gather information, address concerns, and provide updates on the progress of their trust administration
- Proactively manage client expectations, keeping them informed and providing clear explanations of legal concepts and processes
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to trust administration
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions, documentation, and legal research
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in the California State Bar
- 5-10 years of experience in trust administration
- Proven track record of managing multiple trust administration files independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
- Familiarity with legal software and case management systems
- Experience in estate planning or probate law is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Barred in California
