Insight Global is seeking a Jr. DevSecOps Engineer for a top defense contracting company in Beavercreek, OH. This candidate will be working in an agile environment working with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems design, container orchestration, test driven and automation, and release management. This candidate will get to experience working with Linux or similar OS and work as a member of a development team participating in the complete product development lifecycle. They will also be working with Amazon Web Services, as well as continuous integration and software CM processes and tools (Subversion, GIT, Jira, and Confluence). The candidate will be applying industry best practices to ensure system, performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar degree
* 2-3 years of relevant experience with operating systems, cloud infrastructure, or distributed system design
* TS/SCI with CI or Fully Scope Poly
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Linux experience
Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
* Experience managing CI/CD toolchains
* Demonstrated experience with Java or Javascript programming in a Unix/Linux environemnt
