UI API Tester
Location: San Francisco, CA
Roles and Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Assurance
- 6+ years of experience in automation of UI application (using Selenium with Java) and API services (REST Assured)
- Very strong Interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong hands-on experience on Core Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, REST Assured, KARATE Framework (optional).
- Working experienced on CI/CD tools, DevOps
- Expertise in using JIRA and any other test management tools like Quality Center / ALM
- Experience in working with Agile based projects
- Should be able to play lead role by coordinating onsite and offshore resources along with customer communications.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related work experience.
• 8+ years of development and/or test automation experience. Experience in network programming and/or developing/designing large software systems.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Skilled in Selenium and Java / Javascript
• Work on in-sprint and regression automation.
• Participating in scrum calls
Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 90-$95K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
