Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a UI Developer for one of our exciting Health IT projects. The ideal candidate to join our existing project team with a diverse technical background that focuses on delivering high-quality, high-value solutions using various technologies. This is a great opportunity to learn multiple technologies and work with different/multiple systems.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain web-based solutions using Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related tooling.
• Working as part of an Agile team and participating in Agile ceremonies.
• Working closely with subject matter experts to interpret requirements and translate them to working, front-end software solutions.
• Creating or assisting with the creation of mock-ups/prototypes of designs for customer approval.
• Working closely with middleware/back-end engineers to integrate front-end solutions with existing APIs, frameworks, and capabilities.
• Maintaining a focus on code quality, organization, and performance.
• Providing support for downstream testing efforts and defect resolution.
• Supporting the maintenance of related documentation.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Minimum of 1-3+ years of experience in Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficient with source code versioning tools (Git) and build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

OPTIONAL: Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required
• Experience with Angular 14
• Knowledge of JEE.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and/or Spring Data.
• Experience with RESTful web service technologies and related security.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions
• Experience with containerization and microservices.
• Experience with Red Hat products and tooling, including OpenShift

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ $67,000 – $146,000″

This role can be located at any CGI office in the U.S. however, preferred location is Fairfax, VA, Lafayette, LA Knoxville, TN or Lebanon, VA or Belton, TX

This is a hybrid-based opportunity and you will be required to be in the office 2 days per week.
