UI Lead/Manager – React

Job Summary:
The UI React Lead/Manager will partner with other developer, architects and technology decision-makers to guide overall direction of the user interface layer of the site and will work closely with Technical Leads, Application Architects, Software Developers and Management in a highly collaborative environment.
The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering to strategic business vision, enterprise level architecture strategies, and developing innovative enterprise IT enablement practices that create business value.
Roles/Responsibilities:
• Defines and Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
• Does Automation, writes test plans and detailed test scripts supporting test cases derived from an analysis of functional requirements and programming specifications.
• Thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation. Documents and works to resolve all problems. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
• Establishes software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development
• methods, testing and maintenance. Establishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests.
• Works collaboratively with developers across regions.
• Models data for the purposes for analytics and reporting in order to facilitate clear and simple access to non-technical users across varying Business Units.
• Reviews business requirements with regards to reporting, advises on the pros and
• cons of the possible technical solutions.
• Translates those business needs into technical specifications and provides input to the requirements for the development of a solution.
• Develops a full understanding of all relevant medical data and the data processing platform in which it resides.
• Explores data the data to discover patterns, relationships, anomalies and trends.
• Creates reports, graphs and other visualizations to accurately and plainly represent stories within the data.
• Writing relational and multi-dimensional database queries.
• Perform code reviews and optimization of existing queries.
• Tracks and defines work within JIRA or similar.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science Required
• Master’s Degree Computer Science Preferred
• 6 to 14 years of overall experience
• Must have 3+ years prior related experience in developing web applications with
• Reactjs, Redux, React Hooks and other related React framework
• Previous Working experience as a React.js Lead/Architect with minimum 3+ Years Exp.
• Strong experience in the design, development and use of component-based UI architectures
• Demonstrable knowledge of large scale, JavaScript application architectures
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 and front-end languages
• Knowledge of REACT tools including Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Proven ability and curiosity to quickly learn new technologies and a keen interest in working with global team for solving complex business needs
• Strong background in innovation development projects and comfortable with managing the funnel from relatively vague requirements to well defined project with committed stakeholders
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $70,000.00 – $130,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
