Job Summary:
The Undergraduate Engagement Coordinator will work with the Wisconsin School of Business Marketing and Strategic Communications team as the primary coordinator of communications to current students within the Undergraduate Program. This position will collaborate with WSB Undergraduate Program offices and staff to market all programs, services, and events to current admitted, certificate, and pre-business undergraduate students – nearly 7000. This position directly contributes to the programs equity goals of having all students know about and access resources, services, and programs. The person in this role will build and execute communication plans, including writing, editing, and publishing content for a variety of channels, to deliver important messages from school leadership to students and strengthen the Trusted to Lead brand within the program.
Responsibilities: Responds to and consults on marketing requests, serves as the liaison to the marketing team, manages client projects, and maintains account relationships in support of institutional marketing goals.
- 60% Serves as a main point of contact and unit liaison for individuals and groups; assesses, responds to, and consults with clients about their marketing requests providing creative recommendations and solutions
- 5% Maintains marketing account relationships, identifies opportunities to promote marketing products and services to best meet account needs and align with unit objectives and strategic initiatives
- 5% Collects, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes data and trends, disseminating information to appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures
- 10% Provides management and coordination to ensure that marketing campaigns meet deadlines and stay within budget
- 20% Writes, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and established communications campaigns
