Overview and Responsibilities
Paramount seeks a Union Reporting Manager to join our dynamic Payroll Tax and Reporting team in NYC. If you have experience with payroll management, union reporting, and ERP system implementation, join us!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintain Payroll setup in ERP system for multiple union dues and contributions tables; this includes working with IT support for changes and testing.
• Process weekly and monthly Union dues and Union employer contributions payments for numerous different unions with strict deadlines; work with centralized PTP group to confirm all payments are complete; reconcile payment requests to weekly payment reports.
• Provide unions with supporting documents on scheduled basis after weekly and monthly payments are processed.
• Review and maintain employee union dues withholding, 401k, and Flexible Spending elections on timely basis as received from the Unions or Divisional Operations teams.
• Support data verification and troubleshoot errors of payroll earnings and dues for Union employees and employer contributions.
• Maintain relationships with Labor Relations Department and Divisional Operations teams to resolve employee and Union inquiries/discrepancies.
• Research and complete external Union or Union Pension/Health Plan requests for employee information or verification of payments processed.
• Reconcile weekly Union external Interface files sent to completed Union payments processed.
• Provide standard and adhoc reporting requests for Division Accounting Departments.
• Monthly reconciliation of Union payroll balance sheet accounts.
• Lead and compile all annual Union audit data requests for Pension, Health or 401k employer contributions.
• Maintain all Union contract employer contribution rates, including updating and testing payroll system configuration.
• Process manual adjustments for union-related deductions and withholdings on ad hoc basis.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with a large-scale ERP required (SAP EC Payroll highly desired)
• Experience with ERP system configuration and implementation
• 5+ years’ experience with extensive union data and current compensation rules
• Demonstrated experience in interpreting payroll processing results and costing in General Ledger
Additional Qualifications:
• Should be meticulous with excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency with advanced Excel formulas and pivot tables; comfort using data access software, query reporting tools
• Enjoy working with Zoom, Microsoft Teams with the ability to train or review work in them
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; Proactive with excellent follow-up skills
• Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 – 123,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
