What You’ll Do

As the Omnichannel Marketing Strategy Lead, you will be central to connecting the teams building experiences across all marketing channels to deliver user journeys from top-to–bottom of the marketing funnel. You’ll seek out business use cases from varying Deloitte service and industry areas in the B2B space. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will dive deep into the MarTech stack to understand all facets of the systems we leverage, the processes we employ, and the data we use to tailor personalized experiences with the Deloitte brand.

Working alongside our MarTech product owners, you’ll assist those teams with guidance to build, implement, and scale architectural designs for a complete view of our customers-from anonymous prospect to known customer and beyond. This strategic role will also represent life cycle management objectives across our digital production teams ensuring we are using best practices on all owned/paid channels in relation to privacy, segmentation, and personalization.

The Omnichannel Marketing Strategy Lead must be able to develop relationships with the technical team by speaking their language and understanding their needs. Additionally, this lead will build a rapport with key leadership stakeholders by presenting highly technical concepts using uncomplicated terminology.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate strategic conversations with Deloitte business leaders to define and document business use cases for user journeys
  • Document use cases and prioritize based on level-of-effort, needs and value
  • Assess and define technical requirements and integration points as they related to solution development
  • Work with cross-functional teams to clearly link functional scope back to business value
  • Maintain working knowledge of end-to-end solution, with the ability to identify risks and issues throughout project timeline
  • Own the functional testing of the implemented solutions
  • Interface with specific SMEs across Marketing Excellence including CRM, MarTech, AdTech, Brand, DemandGen, Sales and Digital Production to usher in an elevated customer experience and novel marketing data solutions

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in managing and/or developing digital marketing and advertising solutions
  • Robust knowledge of all the various owned and paid digital channels-website and form management, email, SMS, SEM, social media, streaming media, etc.
  • Extensive experience with CRMs, CDPs, data integration, data normalization and hygiene, tracking, analytics, data analysis, etc.
  • Ability to develop processes in digital marketing that lead to best-in-class results
  • Solid footing in marketing strategy-personas, segmentation, journey orchestration, awareness to engagement to conversion objectives, dynamic messaging, etc.
  • Background working in a consulting or agency model
  • Experience leading enterprise-level integrations and implementations using both first- and third-party solutions
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end marketing technology projects; preferably related to marketing databases or marketing campaign tools
  • Exceptional ability to translate requests from non-technical stakeholders into operational steps and successful outcomes-and vice-versa
  • Experience applying and setting best practices for form conversion with a keen eye on metrics that may suggest abandonment
  • Skilled in testing user experiences to increase performance outcomes
  • Experience with customer data leveraged for marketing purposes
  • Excellent people and presentation skills with a high degree of initiative and dependability
  • Strengths in negotiation and conflict resolution
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,300 to $173,300

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with/in regulated industries (ex: healthcare, financial utilities, government, utilities, etc.)
  • Experience with marketing automation products like Eloqua
  • Experience with CRM such as Salesforce
  • Experience working in the Adobe Experience Cloud suite of products and real-time CDP
  • Familiarity of public cloud offerings and other solutions built around these technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and similar)
  • Understanding of Agile Project Management methods
