What you’ll do…

The Director, P ortfolio Manage r , eC omm Product wi ll be responsible for partnering with the Senior Vice President (SVP) of eC omm Product to set and deliver the eCommerce Product team strategy and goals. In this role you will be embedded in t he eC omm team managing a small team of program managers helping to run the rhythm of the business f or eC omm product team to ensure they can hit their product goals . This includes managing communications, setting up processes and foru ms, running special projects, and managing cross-functional partnerships. All of this will be done in partnership with product managers in t he eC omm team.

Location for this role is Bentonville, AR or San Francisco Bay Area

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Be an advisor and part n er to the Senior Vice President (SVP) , eComm Product, in setting and managing to the eComm product strategy and goals ( O KRs )
  • R un the eComm Product ‘rhythm of the business’ establishing the operating rhythm of the team and helping to facilitate its execution wherever possible – from all hands , product reviews, planning cycles , and staff meetings.
  • Represent the eComm Product team in cross-functional forums and partner with the other P ortfolio Managers, Technical Product Managers, and other Walmart associates to achieve goals.
  • Plan and execute the eComm Product internal communications strategy – ensuring everyone on the team and broader Walmart understands the team’s strategy and what they are doing to hit those goals.
  • Build and manage a team of program managers to support the efforts to drive the eComm Product team to success.
  • Organize and coordinate intra-team projects and action items – figure out which fires are burning, prioritize them quickly, and figure out which to put out first!
  • Identify and resolve issues gaps with actionable, data-guided recommendations. Create systems and processes that will avoid such problems in the future.

Along your way, you’ll report to a Vice President of Product Strategy and Governance .

What you’ll bring:

  • 7 + years of experience in management consulting or equivalent strategy/project management experience in a line role for a technology firm.
  • Experience in structuring and executing complex analyses to support strategy in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Knowledge of product organizations.
  • A bias to action and a mentality that no job is too big or too small to be done the right way.
  • Excellent analytic, strategic thinking, organizational planning, and execution skills.
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across product, engineering, business , finance, legal etc.
  • Exceptional verbal , presentation, listening and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions
  • Excellent program/project management skills with ability to drive complex strategic and operational initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000.00-$223,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications…
