The Manager I, Seller Planning , is responsible for supporting strategic initiatives, seller programs and cross-category campaigns to ensure we have the appropriate deployment plans along with the correct mechanisms to track adoption, gather feedback and report on the overall performance of each project. You will be part of the Strategic Initiatives team and work with the category leads, account managers, and data & analytics team to gather business requirements and prioritize activities across projects. With support of the Strategic Initiatives Sr. Manager, you will design a project plan to deploy different initiatives to the commercial teams to ensure clear execution, while also analyzing your portfolio of initiatives through accurate tracking and reporting. You’ll make an impact by:

  • Gathering business requirements, developing project plans, communicating with stakeholders, reporting on overall performance, and presenting business recommendations.
  • Building tracking and reporting tools in Business Intelligence platforms such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Monitoring business initiatives KPIs and communicating current category and seller performance with scalable tools and systems.
  • Partnering with Planning to support analyses to accurately size the revenue potential of each initiative.
  • Supporting cross-category campaign strategy, tracking and reporting.
  • Empowering senior management and cross functional stakeholders with timely and accurate initiative insights, as well as shifts in seller behavior to influence short- and long-term strategies and actions.
  • Providing deep-dive analysis for any follow up questions from initiative reviews.
  • Ensuring strong data governance, documentation and communication of analyses and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience in project management, data science, management consulting, finance, or similar data-driven field.
  • Experience in a retail eCommerce business and/or online marketplaces

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (economics, statistics, mathematics, finance, etc.) or Business Administration and 5 years’ experience in data & analytics, project management, management consulting or similar data-driven field
  • Experience with SQL and other database, scripting, or business intelligence tools
  • Strong experience in developing analytical models using spreadsheet software, retrieving inputs from relevant sources.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail while handling multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to construct simple and impactful message from complex analysis.

The annual salary range for this position is $78,750.00-$131,250.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Stock equity incentives
