Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for the Cart product, aligned with the overall company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and drive product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Analytics and Business, to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product roadmap.
  • Define key success metrics and regularly track product performance to make data-driven decisions.

Core Cart:

  • Own and drive the development of the Core Cart functionalities, including cart management, item quantity control, SFL, Out of Stock, etc.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly cart experiences that optimize conversion rates and minimize cart abandonment.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, conduct user testing, and utilize data analytics to identify pain points and areas for improvement in the cart flow.
  • Prioritize and manage the backlog of features and enhancements, considering business impact, technical feasibility, and customer value.

Basket Building:

  • Lead the strategic development and optimization of the Basket Building process, aiming to increase customer engagement, average order value, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to identify patterns and trends in customer behavior to improve product recommendations and personalized offers during the basket building process.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to ensure seamless integration of the basket building functionality with other systems and third-party services.
  • Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to iterate on the basket building flow and maximize conversion rates.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including Business, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support, to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the product strategy.
  • Communicate product updates, roadmap changes, and performance metrics to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Advocate for the Cart product internally, sharing insights, trends, and success stories to drive support and enthusiasm among the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, shopping cart systems, and customer journey optimization.
  • Solid knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and a track record of delivering successful product launches.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and an appreciation for user-centered design.
  • Experience with A/B testing, data analytics, and product analytics tools is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $136,000.00-$200,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives
