Position: Business Intelligence Analyst

Description

The Fulfillment Innovation and Automation Organization is responsible for designing and implementing industry leading fulfillment and delivery solutions that re-define how customers get their everyday essentials so they can save money and live better. As customer expectations evolve, our organization drives new initiatives that expand the capacity of our assets, improve the accuracy of our inventory assortment, and increase the speed of fulfilment and delivery. We innovate across several asset types and technologies with the fundamental goal of delivering value to our customers. Within the Fulfillment Innovation and Automation, the Intelligence and Transformation team is looking for a motivated leader with, technical, business, and operational experience to support our Business Intelligence efforts. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business strategy and decision-making. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to empower various departments within the organization to make informed choices. This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of our company. This role will support several pillars in the Fulfillment organization, including, National and Regional Fulfillment, Market Fulfillment, and Emerging Technology, while also driving collaboration with our Operations, Finance, and Strategy teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Integration:

  • Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and external data providers.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data integration.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Conduct in-depth data exploration and provide data-driven recommendations.

Data Visualization:

  • Create interactive and informative dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Communicate data findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Business Reporting:

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making across the organization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into performance trends.

Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics:

  • Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to forecast future trends and prescribe actions.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency by implementing data quality processes.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar role (experience in the supply chain and logistics field preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data analysis software (e.g., Python, R).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$168,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives
