Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Modernization Program Director to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Washington, DC Metro area. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s United States Coast Guard Integrated Managed Services (IMS) program.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Leads the ongoing identification, evaluation, and selection of innovations to transform the USCG network including migration to the appropriate mix of Government and commercial cloud computing solutions and the transition to a fully mobilized workforce
- Leads long-term technology strategy and vision in support of the USCG’s programs, providing input into development of technical capabilities in alignment with C5I Strategic Direction and the DOD Digital Modernization Strategy. Collaborates with C5ISC and the IMS Contractor and subcontractor leadership, research and development groups, peer business groups, and industry partners to bring forward innovative solutions to the USCG and USCG’s IT challenges
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related field (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering) and 16-18 years experience or Master’s degree and 14+ years experience or High School Diploma/Equivalent and 20 years experience
- U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- 10 years of experience managing transformative IT programs of similar scope and complexity
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of IT professionals supporting a large enterprise environment
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with customer senior leadership
- Familiarity with DOD IT security requirements
Minimum Certification Requirements: must have the ability to obtain all:
- ITIL v3 Intermediate and/or ITIL 4 Specialist to align with the latest version of DESMF
- Certified TBM Executive (CTBME)
- DOD 8570.01M CSSP-IS certification

Target Salary Range
$135,000 – $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
