User Acceptance Tester | Spokane
Volt is immediately hiring for a User Acceptance Tester in Spokane, WA.
As a User Acceptance Tester you will:
- The ideal candidate will be doing UAT testing – all the test cases are written – working within MS Azure DevOps folliowing test plans, testing accounts, payment process, web enhancements, etc.
- Develop test plans and create test cases based on these requirements
- Perform User Acceptance Testing and communicate test results
- Document test case execution, test results and defects in detail
- Play a key role in improving business acceptance testing of system releases for high end quality results
- Development, revision, and upkeep of test cases for all applications that are in scope of UAT
- Create and document instructional documents (SOPs) as it relates to new, changed or enhanced systems
- Provide support to other departments and teams as needed to ensure successful design, testing and implementation of applications that support the various business needs
This is a fulltime opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, experience with Visio a plus
- Proficiency with MS Azure DevOps (TFS) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven record of learning new systems, processes and procedures quickly
- Strong knowledge of testing requirements and tools for UAT
- Analytical with the ability to identify and resolve complex business problems in a timely manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across all levels in organization
Pay Rate: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
