We are looking for a UX Designer to join us at Amazon Games with an enthusiasm for teamwork, collaboration, and building player-centric innovative UX. In this role, you will work closely with our central creative team, partner with cross-functional teams in marketing and games publishing, and report to the UX Lead. A successful candidate will deliver highly usable and visually compelling experiences across a variety of touch-points including gaming product websites and upcoming around-game product initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver user experiences for our gaming properties including, but not limited to, our game product websites and associated applications.
- Develop compelling and immersive visual design in collaboration with the central creative team and engineering partners.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups and detailed design specifications/guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and promote customer advocacy.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experience
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)
- Conducts generative and evaluative user research
- Working knowledge of design systems
- Passionate gamer with an insatiable will to get stuff done.
- Excellent problem solver with design innovation.
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
