WHAT DOES THE VALET PARKING ATTENDANT DO?
- The Valet Attendant is the first point of contact for guests of hotels, and restaurants. It is because of our amazing associates that we are known for our top-notch customer service. Our Valets are the face of our company!
- The Valet Attendant’s core responsibility is to provide outstanding customer service. They always welcome guests with a warm smile as you open their doors for them and put them at ease as you take over the responsibility of parking and retrieving our guests’ vehicles safely. The Valet will always treat our guests and their property with the utmost respect.
- If you love meeting new people and getting to be physically active as you run several miles and lift heavy luggage throughout their shift. The Valet Attendant will ensure that guests’ departures are smooth and efficient by retrieving their vehicle safely. Their passion for providing the best possible customer service at all times is why you excel in this position!
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A VALET PARKING ATTENDANT
- At least 18 years of age
- Customer service experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check upon hire or a motor vehicle record (MVR) check
- Ability to run and retrieve vehicles as well as lift luggage up to 50 pounds
- Ability to drive a standard (stick-shift) vehicle is desired but not required
SKILLS OF SUCCESSFUL VALET PARKING ATTENDANTS
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service, every time, and every guest.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple tasks while demonstrating good time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have a positive and professional attitude
