Enterprise Holdings of Arizona, operating Alamo Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental, is hiring immediately for an experienced Building and Facilities Maintenance Technician!
The position is a Full Time position that starts at $53,000 based on a 45 hour work week! $21.50 / hour.
Additional $1.00 / Hour for certifications in trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, car wash equipment, and machine maintenance.
The Building and Facilities Maintenance Technician will work with the Group Facilities Department to improve the appearance and safety of our rental branches through regular repairs, maintenance, and assisting with branch renovations. This position may require work in grounds-keeping, painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, electrical, telecommunications, data and phone wiring, signs and lighting, or other maintenance tasks as assigned. A company vehicle is supplied for transportation and storage of company owned/supplied tools, equipment, & materials.

Responsibilities
The Building and Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services including but not limited to:
- Perform routine general maintenance and repair work such as drywall repair, painting, light electrical, plumbing, floor covering replacement, ceiling tile replacement, light equipment maintenance, furniture assembly, and similar facility related repair and maintenance tasks.
- Reviews assigned work orders; estimates time and materials needed to complete order, orders necessary materials and supplies, and completes work orders and associated records in expected time frames.
- Installation of information technology hardware (PC’s, monitors, printers, and alike).
- Move and / or deliver items as needed (i.e. furniture, file cabinets, equipment, safes, etc.)
- Inspects building systems including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC (preferred), etc. and equipment (vacuums, vehicle wash systems, pumps, fueling systems, etc.) to ensure systems and equipment are in good working order.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Working outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment
- Use a variety of equipment: a large assortment of vehicles (may include 15-passenger vans and airport buses), safety belts, cellular phone, phone system, computer/tablet, printer, fax, cleaning tools and solutions

Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- 3+ years currently working in a customer facing capacity in a multi-unit or multi-property setting with relevant experience is required. Relevant experience defined as:
- Trade experience: drywall repair, carpentry, electrical and/or plumbing
- Hands on general building/facilities maintenance experience
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building plumbing and electrical systems and mechanical systems (preferred)
- Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
- Attention to detail
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, climb a ladder up to 10 ft. and operate various power tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years (ie., DUI/DWI)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
