The Role

A strategic and hands-on role, the Vice President, Global Head of Digital Experience, will lead Chubb’s growing digital strategy needs. This is a vital role at a critical time as Chubb’s growth accelerates globally and is central to shaping Chubb’s digital landscape, primarily Chubb.com. The VP will craft a strategic vision for Chubb’s website and other digital experiences that aligns with the company’s business objectives and drives the development of digital solutions.

Of critical importance is this digitally savvy professional’s ability to partner with the various businesses and other members of the Global Marketing and Communications team to advance digital solutions for Chubb’s clients, customers, distribution partners, and several other priority stakeholders. The impact of this role will be felt across a global audience and will evolve and reshape how Chubb represents its offering on digital platforms. Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the strategic vision and product roadmap for Chubb.com and other digital marketing touchpoints, ensuring alignment with corporate and business objectives.
  • Manage website KPIs tied to business goals, understanding multiple conversion funnel flows.
  • Craft and deliver monthly and quarterly business reviews to executive management and key stakeholders, presenting performance against global KPIs, actionable intelligence, optimization opportunities, and development roadmap status to create better business outcomes.
  • Establish and implement a best in practice branded design system that scales to create beautiful, useful, and seamless experiences that are governed across product and regional lines.
  • Evaluate and optimize digital journeys in collaboration with UX/UI strategy and design disciplines to enhance engagement and conversion efficiency.
  • Implement a learning agenda and successful A/B testing program to optimize Chubb.com against core user journey goals.
  • Facilitate and drive communication between business, marketing, and technology teams to align on requirements for new feature development.
  • Support development activities through aggregation of business requirements, project prioritization, user acceptance testing, and collaboration across internal and external teams.
  • Coordinate and maintain governance standards with respect to UX/UI and design for digital experiences across countries, business lines, corporate functions, and external vendors.
  • Generate innovative digital concepts to increase audience engagement and repeat site visits.
  • Lead the creation of business cases for specific project funding.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in managing corporate B2B, B2C, and/or B2B2C websites or online experiences, preferably with a focus on lead generation or eCommerce.
  • Experience managing agile marketing and communication teams, engineering support, as well as design and UX teams to create best practices across a large matrix organization.
  • Ownership of a public company’s website’s roadmap and a path to ongoing success – ability to build business plans and gain funding across a global organization and senior management.
  • Ability to manage a budget and external strategic and tactical resources to drive project success.
  • Understanding of user data to optimize experiences to improve business results over time.
  • Experience with personalization, data management as well as global data restrictions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary, diverse and dispersed teams and present work clearly across various settings.
  • Ability to navigate and thrive within a highly matrixed global corporate environment, working closely with stakeholders across all time zones.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing for online experiences.
  • Proficiency in web authoring and publishing via a content management system, preferably Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Demonstrable experience in leveraging data, user experience research, and competitive analysis to inform UX/UI and feature development decisions.
  • Proven track record of improving funnel conversion metrics through experience optimization.
  • Expertise in project management, preferably in an agile environment, with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to identify gaps, initiate changes, and devise creative solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to connect with various levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinking, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities.
  • Able to absorb candid feedback and clearly articulate to tech and non-tech team members.
  • Is a trusted advisor and collaborator.
  • Experience in Insurance or Financial Services is a plus – not required.

The pay range for the role is $128,500 to $215,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
