The Role and What You’ll Do:
Endeavor is seeking a Vice President of Government Relations to lead our policy, political, and civic-related priorities. This role will sit on the Senior Leadership Team of in the Impact, Inclusion and Advocacy department, and work across the various businesses under Endeavor.
Policy
- Work closely with business unit leaders and various departments across Endeavor, including communications, finance, and legal teams on legislative and regulatory issues.
- Determine, draft, and execute Endeavor’s annual legislative priority issues.
- Develop and execute lobbying strategies on legislation introduced that impacts Endeavor.
- Actively track legislative, regulatory and policy issues at the local, state, federal, and international level and engage on issues that could directly impact Endeavor and/or its business units.
Political
- Plan and execute all political fundraisers and events (both virtual and in-person) for Endeavor, their executives, and PACs.
- Plan and execute employee political engagement events, including panels and Q&A sessions with government officials.
- Draft, execute and manage the company’s political giving strategies that help advance Endeavor and its business units’ priorities.
- Provide WME clients with opportunities presented by government officials and political organizations looking for talent to perform at events, engage in policy issues, participate in panels, etc.
- Connect government officials and organizations with WME clients who want to engage on political and policy issues that are important to them.
- Manage and fundraise for the company’s Political Action Committee (PAC).
- Draft, execute and manage the PAC political giving strategies.
Subsidies and Incentives
- Work with departments on their priority events lists and the incentives process to reduce operations costs for the company (e.g., cash grants and tax credits) available at the local, state, and federal level
- Collaborate with Endeavor and its business units to draft grant applications and presentation decks for incentive applications.
General
- Oversee all policy and political issues for the company
- Manage contract lobbyists in the U.S. and abroad
You Have These
- 10-15 years work experience, with 5+ years working either in a government position, with a public relations/community relations firm, or similar experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and responsibilities
- Strong team player
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Capable of solving problems
- Strong organizational skills

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Range Minimum:
$195,000 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$260,000 annually
