Job Duties
Do you enjoy collaborating and solving problems to streamline operations? Do you have experience managing, organizing, and leading diverse teams and projects? Then look no further! The Virginia Department of Energy, Administration program, is seeking a Chief of Staff to act as a liaison between Virginia Energy’s Director and internal/external stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and timely completion of projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will create, implement, and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations and ease communications.
Minimum Qualifications
• Executive management experience with a proven track record organizing and directing multiple teams and projects
• Experience with project management software
• Demonstrated ability with time management and organizational skills
• Problem solver mentality with the ability to identify existing/potential issues and provide solutions
• Results driven through prioritizing, taking initiative, and taking ownership
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing teams and projects
• Work experience in business management, finance, government policy, business development, or a related field
This position has been designated as required to file a Statement of Economic Interest in accordance with Section 2.2-3114 of the Code of Virginia. The individual accepted for employment will have to pass a drug test and successfully complete reference checks as part of the Virginia Energy pre-employment process.
