Reports to: Sr. Director of Older Adult and Economic Stability
Status: Full Time; Exempt (Salary)
Location: East Side Neighborhood Services Hybrid (in office + remote)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Vital Living Program Manager is a full-time position responsible for program development, budgeting, and grant reporting for older adult engagement programming and caregiver services at East Side Neighborhood Services. This position
DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Is responsible for, but not limited to the following functions:
- Manages, oversees, and coordinates: program planning, promotion, and scheduling; budget management and reporting; grants management; special events.
- Effectively communicates as primary liaison for local, state, and nationwide partners.
- Collaborates with other agencies to expand and provide services to older adults and caregivers of older adults.
- Anti-agism and intergenerational engagement advocate.
- Maintains accurate records necessary for internal and external budget and program reports.
- Develops and implements strategies that improves participant experience.
- Manages grant funded and contract funded projects and ensures that deliverables are met.
- Supervises a multi-generational staff of 4 including mentoring, training, and evaluations.
- Serves as member of agency leadership team.
- Collaborates with other ESNS older adult programs to provide and promote services.
- Attends agency staff meetings, staff development activities, and special events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Weekly/monthly duties
- Lead team meetings and set work plan priorities.
- Seek out community partners and execute events. Maintain on-going relationships.
- Maintain accurate financial and engagement records.
- Publish e-newsletter sent to 1000+.
- Trouble shoot program/event issues and resolve participant issues.
- Support team members with mentoring, resources, and gratitude.
- Connect with older adults seeking information on wellbeing, fall prevention, caregiving services, and engagement activities.
- Create and maintain a welcoming and accessible space for older adult participants.
- Review payroll grant allocations and report changes to HR.
- Review advertising and social media posts
- Deposit and record cost share donations
- Submit required documentation for expenditures to accounting.
Quarterly duties
- Quarterly reporting to grant funders including narratives and financial reports.
- Assist Grant Manager with new grant funding opportunities.
- Monitor progress on workplan objectives and create or schedule programming as needed.
- Seek out and schedule training for team members.
- Attending funder and partner meetings.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work, human services, or related field or – equivalent experience + high school diploma or GED
Experience:
- 3-5 years non-profit program experience, required.
- 2+ years of experience leading a team / managing a program, required.
- Experience working with older adult services, preferred.
- Experience with public and/or private grant management, required.
- grant-writing experience a plus (not required)
Other:
- Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Skilled at working with deadlines, handling confidential and time sensitive material.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000, dependent upon qualifications.

Working Environment:
Vital Living’s work week is now a 50:50 hybrid model. Our hybrid model refers to the split between working from home and the office. Over a 5-day work week, half of working hours occur in the office and half of working hours provide the opportunity to work from home. When in the office please know we are a dog-friendly office
