What You’ll Do:
Responsibilities of the VLT Regulation Manager include but are not limited to:
- Works as part of a team to regulate Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) racinos throughout the State of Ohio.
- Serves as liaison between the VLT racino and the Ohio Lottery Commission and maintains a positive working relationship.
- Regulates the VLT racino in areas including promotional programs, games library, machine shipments, prize payments and intercepts, licensing compliance and processing, and others.
- Develops and maintains administrative rules, agency standards and regulations for the VLT program.
- Monitors VLT racino compliance with Video Lottery rules, standards and regulations.
- Monitors VLT operations and reviews internal control documents, policies and procedures submitted by the VLT racino and technology providers in the areas of responsible gambling, employee training, security and surveillance, VLT computer operations, cage and credit, financial operations, shipping and receiving, and other areas.
- Conducts regular on-site audits and presents audit reports and follows up on audit items to completion.
- Manages the VLT financial review process.
- Performs other duties and works on special projects.

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
-Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
-Or 4 years training or 4 years experience in business administration, management science or public administration.
-Or 1 year experience as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
