Location: Springs Family YMCA Center – 27216 Ranch Rd. 12, Dripping Springs, TX 78620
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
How You Will Make an Impact (Essential responsibilities):
- Interpret and enforce the rules of the game according to YMCA Youth/Adults Sports philosophy.
- Attend all Sports staff meetings as required.
- Render first aid as needed and complete and fill out the required documentation.
- Arrive at the game site 30 minutes prior to the game.
- Assist facility supervisor in setting up and taking down fields/courts. Distribute information or equipment as requested by the facility supervisor.
- Check the play area for hazards prior to the start of each game. Enforce any rules specified for the use of the facilities as needed.
- Promote the YMCA’s character values, mission, wellness philosophy, and role in the community.
- Lead by example the Y’s mission, vision, and values with program participants, members, staff, and guests.
- Become an Ambassador of the Y’s work and culture by being the ultimate storyteller of who we are as an organization and brand.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to Power Your Purpose (Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Education and Experience:
- You are a minimum age of 16 years old and have knowledge of the rules of the sport(s) to be officiated.
- Certification as an official is a plus.
- You have current CPR and First Aid certifications which must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Availability:
- You can work some evenings during the week and Saturdays.
- Skills:
