At our Richland facility, we design and manufacture the fuel sent to nuclear power plants providing cleaner, safer and more economical low-carbon energy to US households. In addition, Framatome supports the mission to design fuels to support small modular reactors (SMR) and deliver advanced accident tolerant fuels (ATF). This position will support the team working on SMR and ATF opportunities.
We are looking for an exceptional Project Coordinator for our Horn Rapids Road office in Richland, Washington.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assists project managers with the coordination of project plans, schedules, and materials to attain project quality, reliability, cost, and timing objectives.
- Works with project engineering and purchasing to create procurement packages
- Creates purchase requestions and tracks purchasing, delivery and kitting of materials and equipment.
- Work with suppliers and monitor procurement deliveries
- Work with project managers on procurement strategies related to the project schedule
- Work with construction manager for procured material/equipment receipt and storage requirements and location
- Work with engineering/purchasing/suppliers to obtain equipment quotes
- Supports tracking of project documentation
- Track procurement goods receipt status
This is a full-time, office-based position with full benefits. After initial training, optional hybrid schedules are available.
Travel: Occasional/sporadic
Required Experience
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Change Management, IS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree; plus a minimum of 2 years of closely related work experience.
The following may be used to differentiate candidates who apply for this position:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent PC-based application skills such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Basic problem identification and resolution skills with emphasis on “root cause” analysis.
- Familiar with SAP entries and running reports, issuing Purchase Requisitions
Our total rewards package
The range of base salary for the position is between $32 – $40 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
