Job Overview:

LPL Financial is seeking a VP, Building Services & Workplace Experience to join our Real Estate team to lead building operations and deliver world class services to the LPL workforce across all corporate and field office locations. With1.3M square feet of office space across 80 US locations, Real Estate is focused on ensuring our facilities are maintained and properly cared for, effectively executing and managing projects, providing efficient food and mailservices, ensuring the safetyand security of our employees and customers and delivering best in class services to an increasingly hybrid workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of our facilities including facility management, engineering, food service, mail, conference services, management of third party outsourced service providers and integration with transaction management, project management, event planning, and corporate security
  • Manage annual operating expense and capital plans and forecasts to include preventative maintenance programs, recurring expenses, and reactive work orders
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions that provide a hospitality inspired experience that is digitally savvy, frictionless, and hassle-free for LPL employees
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for our workforce
  • Execute a proactive plan to eliminate or minimize business disruption with a robust triage and communication plan to address unavoidable service outages
  • Spearhead environmental initiatives and other programs that demonstrate corporate social responsibility
  • Maintain positive and cooperative relationships with LPL landlords
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies through process improvements, technological innovation, and/or strategic sourcing strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years’ of relevant experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, hotel/hospitality management, and/or property management
  • Proven leadership, process discipline, vendor management and fiscal responsibility
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and customer service skills
  • Technical savvy with strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Core Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and motivation to continuously innovate and drive process improvements
  • Critical thinking skills, with the ability to ask the right questions and develop solutions to improve processes and project outcomes.
  • Ability to confidently make fact base, rapid decisions in response to time sensitive requirements
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels and stakeholder groups
  • Results oriented and outcome based; able to manage to quantitative KPIs
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment, and able to multi-task and prioritize work

Preferences:

  • Experience in both corporate/commercial real estate and hospitality industry
  • BOMA and/or IFMA certification

Pay Range:
$114,960-$172,440/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
