VP, Project Management Lead – PMO Governance and Oversight (Hybrid)

The Org PMO Governance and Oversight is a role within the Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) organization, focused on the critical review, monitoring, and tracking of Project Management governance and oversight on the ICRM Book of Work.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational execution of the Org PMO Governance and Oversight activities working with Program and Project Managers.
  • Assesses compliance with the defined governance process and overall adequacy, through periodic governance reviews to ensure compliance with the requirements, and reports / escalates issues, including overseeing PM Risk and Controls as well as Organization PMO Management Control Assessment (MCA) Process.
  • Independently assess’ risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to data quality issues and non-compliance by challenging teams.
  • Analyzes scorecards/project management tools in an attempt to identify program / project management execution issues.
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Develops and maintains relationships across the PMO, CPMC (Citi Program Management Council) and other stakeholders to better understand and respond in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to ensuring Org PMO is be a strong, transparent and well-governed organization through supporting key governance and finds efficiencies in the governance processes, templates and reporting. Identifies process improvement opportunities where appropriate and manages approved enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience including program management or PM governance.
  • Strong organization skills, time management, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation skills and ability to influence.
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain highly detailed records of meetings, reviews, actions, and agreements.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; data driven and results-oriented.
  • Expert knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) is a must. SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and ability to manage concurrent deliverables and prioritization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
