RATE OF PAY: $6.00 per hour — Grille Room and Beverage Cart
$10.25 per hour – Banquet Service
MINIMUM AGE: 18 years
HOURS/PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: Currently posting for positions during the golf season which usually starts in March. This is a 7-Day Operation during the golf season. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Extended time off during the golf season is extremely limited. Must be available for an on-call, event related schedule during the off-season.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The employee performs a wide variety of duties related to the food & beverage operation of the Mystic Creek Golf Course. Primary responsibilities include providing complete food & beverage service to club house patrons. Complete service involves: greeting patrons, servicing tables and assisting kitchen staff by performing routine food preparation tasks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to greet and serve patrons, answer inquiries and provide directional assistance.
- Ability and willingness to perform routine tasks associated with the food & beverage operation.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to assist kitchen staff by performing routine food preparation tasks by adding toppings and garnishes as required.
- Ability to perform simple key entry commands on a computer terminal or cash register to facilitate service.
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Waitstaff experience highly desirable, but not required.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with other employees and the general public.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
TIPS certified preferred.
EXAMINATION PROCEDURE:
- Applications will be reviewed and qualified applicants will be scheduled for an interview.
POST OFFER REQUIREMENTS: Satisfactory completion of criminal history, background check and a drug screen that tests for illegal drugs as defined by the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act but not those legalized under Michigan law.
