Primary Responsibilities

The Warehouse Driver Check-In unloads, verifies and keeps records on incoming customer returns and prepares and put-away items, processes damages and cycle counting.

  • The pay rate for this position is $18 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Employees will also be eligible to receive additional job premiums, weekly incentive pay and be eligible to participate in the Company’s annual incentive program.
  • Schedule: (Mon-Fri) 12PM-8:30PM
  • $2,000 Referral bonus for the Current Employee and $2,000 for the New Hire: $500 at Day 90, $500 at Day 180, and $1,000 at Day 365
  • Work in a temperature control environment.

Essential Functions

  • Compares identifying information and counts items of incoming returns, including empty pallets, totes, straps, etc.
  • Operates material handling equipment to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving to storage or work area
  • Executes receiving and stocking of back-haul PO’s.
  • Loads or unloads materials on or off of pallets, skids or lifting device
  • Unpacks, examines and segregates incoming returns based on product condition
  • Affixes License Plate Numbers (ULLs) on packed cartons or full pallets
  • Prepares returned products and executes “put-away” process
  • Routes paperwork to necessary channels

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse atmosphere preferred.
  • Previous experience operating powered warehouse industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers, RF Scanner etc.) preferred.
  • Must have the ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
  • Must have the ability to follow safe warehouse working practices, as instructed
  • Must have the ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision within the warehouse.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential warehouse functions of this job. The associate is required to sit. The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb in the warehouse. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The associate is also exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the warehouse work environment are typically low to moderate.
