The Role: Program & Product Management Senior Analyst

The Team: Manages programs and initiatives that span across functions, businesses, and geographies to achieve strategic objectives. Creates project plans and monitors projects through governance structures.

The Impact: Manages relationships, resolves conflicts, and facilitates and manages the political aspects of stakeholder management. Develops business strategies, techniques, and tools to identify barriers to success and facilitate prevention strategies. Enables clients to improve ROI, profitability, market position and/or transform their operations/businesses.

Key Roles & Responsibilities*

  • Plans and monitors multi-faceted projects, provides technical insights to complete projects.
  • Allocates key resources by integrating functional priorities with available resources.
  • Ensures project results utilize the most efficient technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost options. Leverages technical skills to drive key project areas.
  • Manages complex projects that cross multiple areas of a business, with minimal to no guidance from a more senior member of the team.
  • Operates as a first line of communication with junior analysts’ members. Proposes resources allocation improvements.

Functional and Business Knowledge*

  • Holds solid understanding of how work of project teams impacts relevant teams or departments.
  • Has knowledge of S&P Global businesses to assist in developing strategic initiatives. Holds business specific knowledge to better advise and communicated to subordinate employees.
  • Some familiarity with prevailing trends.

Problem Solving*

  • Provides support to solving increasingly complex problems and lends technical support to more junior coworkers.
  • Has ability to identify potential project risks while proposing potential solutions to senior staff.

Interactions*

  • Works within project management team.
  • Works with internal customers.

Typical Scope & Impact*

  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives and the objectives of functional or business areas supported.
  • Support a few core projects/programs

What We’re Looking For:
Minimum and Preferred Education
BA or equivalent experience managing projects in a technical environment.

Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills
3-5 years of project management experience.
Project Management Professional certification is a plus.
This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $72,300 to $116,446. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
